It is with great sadness that Louisiana State Newspapers announce the death of our chairman , Braxton I. Moody III, age 97, of Crowley, who passed away on September 13, 2023.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on Sept. 8 at Pellerin Funeral Home e for Mildred B. Soignier, 96, who died on Sept. 4, 2023.
She is survived by her sons, Jason and Dewey Benoit Jr.; daughter, Mary Katherine Hebert; stepsons, Kenneth and Butch Soignier; stepdaughter, Priscilla S. Goudeau; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great- great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mabel Muscarello, Joyce Meche and Linda West.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
St. Martinville – A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Karl Duane Jeter, 69, who died Sept. 10, 2023.

We are extremely saddened to announce Ronald James Thibodeaux, 77, of Houston, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Labor day, September 4th, 2023, due to adverse health effects from two Covid 19 vaccinations administered in 2021.
He is predeceased by his father, Paul Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge, La.; mother, Una Thibodeaux, also from Breaux Bridge, La.; brother, Joe Thibodeaux of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Stella Thibodeaux of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rheanne Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge, La.

Andres Pourciaux of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, was surrounded by family as he peacefully went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2023, at the age of 87.
Born August 27, 1936, Andres lived a full and joyful life, having been blessed with a large, close, and supportive extended family.
