Clark J. Robin

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held Sept. 21 for Clark Joseph Robin, 63, who died on Sept. 17, 2023.

He is survived by his wife Julia Marlene Robin; mother, Betty (Terry) LeBlanc; sons, Joshua Robin, Brandon Lovoi and Tim Champagne; daughters, Brandy Pittare, Misty Broussard, and Christy Champagne; brother, Victor Robin; his sister, Dora Robin; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Robin; sister, Judith Robin; and his grandchild, Sambrea Champagne.

Teddy J. Huval

Catahoula – A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Teddy Joesph Huval, 85, who passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his residence. 

A visitation will take place at St. Rita Catholic Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday by the Men’s Rosary Group of New Iberia. 

Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert will officiate the memorial service. Readers will be Chelsie Huval and Scarlett Guidry.

Karl Jeter

St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Karl Jeter, 69, who passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Camelot of Broussard Nursing Home. 

Karl was born on August 14, 1954, in Houston, Texas. He was the second of two children of John Jeter and Ethel Stoops Jeter. After moving to Florida as a child, Karl found an early love of sailing on the Indian River Lagoon, going out daily.

Karl then obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a minor in English from Midwestern State University in Texas.

Mildred B. Soignier

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on Sept. 8 at Pellerin Funeral Home e for Mildred B. Soignier, 96, who died on Sept. 4, 2023.

She is survived by her sons, Jason and Dewey Benoit Jr.; daughter, Mary Katherine Hebert; stepsons, Kenneth and Butch Soignier; stepdaughter, Priscilla S. Goudeau; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great- great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mabel Muscarello, Joyce Meche and Linda West.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
