Catahoula – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Oct. 2 at St. Rita Catholic Church for Jeanette Theresa Blanchard, 89, who died on Sept. 29, 2023.
Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
She is survived by her brother, Gerald Blanchard; and sisters, Goldie Granger and Flora Mae Vincent.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Parks – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Sept. 29, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mary Jane Latiolais, 84.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanise Bernard and Meranda Dautreuil; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Latiolais Jr.

Parks – To honor our sister, Lise Lasseigne Romero, 62, who passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, a gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Parks (1086 Main St. Parks, LA 70582) from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Parks. After services, a reception will resume at the K.C. Hall for family and friends who care to join us in celebrating Lise’s life.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial wase held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Anna Mae Schexnayder Dore, 89, who passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the Calcutta House (Hospice of Acadiana).
A visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continued on Monday from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed by Elaine Dore and Amanda Darby at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
