Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Aug.14 at St. Bernard Catholic Church for John Edgar Martin Jr., 76, who died on Aug. 8, 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Diana B. Martin; son, Corey Martin; a grandson; and his sisters, Ginger Delahoussaye and Tessie Fuhrer.

Rita Mouton, also known as Rita Granger, was born on March 10, 1936, in Port Arthur, Texas. She peacefully passed away in her home in Parks, Louisiana surrounded by loved ones on August 9, 2023, at the age of 87.
Rita was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Myrtle “Mom Mo” Serrette Lasseigne, 85, who passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, at her residence.
A visitation was held at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Monday evening.
