Overall school performance up

Breaux Bridge – District and School Performance Scores (DPS and SPS) for 2016-17 released earlier this month by the state Department of Education show general improvements for St. Martin Parish schools.

Superintendent Dr. Lottie P. Beebe and Phyllis Landry, parish supervisor of elementary education, presented a detailed report on the extensive testing results to local school board members last week.

Parish Council OKs 2018 budget

St. Martinville – The proposed St. Martin Parish Capital Outlay and Sinking Fund/Operating & Maintenance and other budgets passed with a unanimous vote at the Nov. 7 council meeting.
