Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service will be held on Feb. 5 at The Bridge Fellowship Church for Gloria “Glo” Hollier Major, 61, who died on Jan. 27, 2022.

She is survived by her son, Joshua Dupre; daughters, Mrs. Larissa (Wendy) Condarcure, Lacie Babineaux and Brandi Major; five grandchildren; brother, Eddie Hollier; and sisters, Debbie N. Kennedy and Mrs. James (Beverly) Manser.

Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Veronica Niave-Torres, 45, who passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in St. Martinville from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

A rosary will be prayed at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Freda Gallagher Thibodeaux, who passed away peacefully in her home amid her family on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 82 years of life.

Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and continues on Monday from 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. 

A rosary was prayed at 6 p.m. on Sunday by Horace Calais.
