St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Herman Joseph Mason, 85, who died Aug. 23, 2022.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Mason, daughters Janice M. Batiste, Karen Mason and son Harvey Mason; six grandchildren; sisters Mazel Narcisse and Emily Charles.

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Aug. 27, 2022, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Glen David Martin, 75.
He is survived by his sons, Terry Martin, Ty Martin and Travis Martin; four grandchildren; brother Richard “Dickie” Martin; and his sister Juanita “Kitty” Degeyter.

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 4 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Georgia Knott Naquin, 84, who passed away at her home.
Visitation was held at the funeral home in Cecilia on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m..
A rosary was prayed by Brenda Dwyer and Ms. Marella Theriot at 1 p.m. on Monday.
Rev. Gregory Cormier officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Dawn Womack and Phyllis Marks. Gift Bearers were Amie Johannes, Ashley Fisher, and Hollie Miller.
Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 4 p.m, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Shirley Marie Hayes, 81, who passed away surrounded by her family.
A visitation was held at the funeral home in Cecilia on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
A rosary was recited at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. Msgr. Jefferson Deblanc officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Lindsay Hayes and Ashley Steele. Jaxon Steele and Lane Hayes served as Gift Bearers.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sept. 2 at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Barbara Ann Jacquet, 77.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Kila) Francis; son, Keith Jacquet; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Glenn (Cliter) Hayward; and brothers, Melvin and Willie Jones.
