Breaux Bridge – A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Lennis “Chute” Huval, 82, who passed away at his home.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert will officiate at the funeral service. Reader will be Bess Robicheaux.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Shirley Thomas Romero, 85, who passed away on September 17, 2022, after a brief illness with her family by her side.

Visitation will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. It will continue on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Ronald Joseph Belaire, 75, who passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022.

Visitation at the funeral home was from 9 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.

A rosary was prayed at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Rev. Jason Vidrine officiated at the funeral service.

Interment followed at St. Michael Mausoleum.
