A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date for Mary Alice Smith, 65, who passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2022.

Inurnment will take place in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula, La.

Mrs. Smith, a resident of Broussard, was the daughter of the late Lester Joseph Guilbeau Sr. and the former Rita Boudreaux.

Cecilia – Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Church for Mary Jones, 65, the former Mary Nellie Gordon, who passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at her residence in St. Martinville.

Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Church Cemetery. The Rev. Gregory Cormier, pastor of St. Rose of Lima Church in Cecilia, will officiate at the services. Readers will be Irma Stewart and Shannon Gordon.

Leonville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday October 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville for Marie Minnie Devillier, age 90, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at Opelousas General Hospital. 

Entombment was held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church Mausoleum in Leonville. 

The Rev. Father Darren Eldridge, pastor of St. Leo Catholic Church, officiated at the service.
