Catahoula – A Memorial Mass was held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Hardy James Boudreaux, 64, who passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022.

Rev. Bill Melancon officiated at the Memorial Mass.

He is survived by his sons, Derek Boudreaux and Dorsy (Karley) Boudreaux; brother, Sherman (Cheryl) Boudreaux; sister, Ruth (Mark) Jeter; sister-in-law, Mazel Boudreaux; grandchildren, Kamryn Boudreaux and Kohyn Boudreaux; and his best friend, his dog, Jolie. 

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Edna Trosclair Belaire, 85, who passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at her residence.

A visitation took place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continued on Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of Mass. 

A rosary was prayed at 6 p.m. on Sunday by the Anse La Butte Rosary Group.

St. Martinville –  A Memorial Service will be held on Nov. 16 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Velma Berthelot Prosper, 80, who died at Our Lady of Lourdes.

She is survived by son, Craig Latiolais; brother, Vernon Berthelot; sister, Vivian Melancon; and three grandchildren.
