Roger James Guidry

Breaux Bridge – Roger James Guidry, 72, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020.
Due to the Governor’s Public Health Emergency Proclamation, limiting gatherings no more than 50 people, a private service will be held for immediate family only.
Roger honorably served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked as a woodworker for 40 years at Lafayette Wood Works.
Roger was devoted Catholic and parishioner at St. Bernard Catholic Church. He was a member of the St. Bernard Usher Society, an original member of Perpetual Adoration and Holy Name Society.

Jimmy J. Lalonde

Arnaudville – A Private Service will be held for the immediate family of Jimmy J. Lalonde, 82, who passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020, in Bridge City, La.
A lifelong resident of Bridge City, La., Mr. Jimmy was born October 4, 1937, to the late Alex and Bernadette Roy Lalonde. He retired with 30 plus years as a superintendent of a chemical plant.

Joseph Boudreaux

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, March 14, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Joseph “Black” Boudreaux, 92, who passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Nola Frederick Boudreaux; daughters, Mrs. Danny (Cynthia) Guidry and Angela Lebouef; son, Carlton Boudreaux; nine grandchildrenand 12 great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.

Charlene N. Kidder

Cecilia – A Memorial Mass was held on Saturday, March 14, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Charlene Naquin Kidder, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
Inurnment followed in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
She is survived by her spouse, Bobby C. Kidder; son, Phillip Kidder; daughters, Mrs. Terry (Jennifer) Guidry and Shelly K. Thompson; sister, Deborah Naquin; brothers, Mark and Michael Naquin; and five grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.

Ronald ‘Humphrey’ Champagne

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Ronald “Humphrey” Champagne, 73, who passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 90 p.m. on Friday and continued on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
A rosary was prayed by Deacon Ken Soignier at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Mausoleum-No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
