Larry J. Lewis

Breaux Bridge – Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Larry Joseph Lewis, 65, who passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Alexander Lewis; step-son, Dominic Martinez; sons, Mark and Christopher Lewis; daughters, Bridget Lewis and Shalana Crawford; brothers, Herman and Bradley Lewis Jr.; sisters, Louella Charles, LouVelma Abraham and Mary Belle Onlow; and four grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.

Genevieve Lagrange

Arnaudville – A private graveside service will be held for Genevieve “Jan” LaGrange, 79, who passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin and Wayne LaGrange; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. LaGrange.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Cecil ‘Goose’ Angelle

Cecilia – A private burial will be held for Cecil “Goose” Joseph Angelle, 91, who passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Everyone knew Cecil as “Mr. Goose.” He owned and operated Angelle’s Grocery, better known as Goose’s Store, for over 50 years. He loved to cut the grass and you could find him on his lawnmower just about every day. Cecil loved to travel with his extended family and loved to do all the driving. As a pastime, he also enjoyed hunting.

Chester J. Berard

Cecilia – A Private burial will be held for Chester J. Berard, 92, who passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Opelousas General Hospital.
Mr. Berard enjoyed life to the fullest. He especially enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with folks at Diesi’s Little Capitol in Henderson. His most cherished moments were spending time with the people he loved the most; his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Octavie Picard Bergeron

St. Martinville – Octavie Picard Bergeron, a native and longtime resident of St. Martinville, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, April 2, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was 69.
Octavie, affectionately known as “Tavie” by family and friends, was a sweet and generous person who enjoyed every minute of her life. Her spirit was always positive and her presence was felt by everyone around her.
