Catahoula – A Mass will be held on Friday, June 12, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Rives “Bozo” Verret Jr., 85, who passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ollie Theriot Verret; son, Rilius Verret; daughters, Brenda Verret, Melinda LaVergne, and Mrs. Johnnie (Linda) Faucheaux; sisters, Carolyn Busby and Beverly Lasseigne; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

St. Martinville – A Graveside Service was held on Friday, June 5, at St. Michael Cemetery for Merlin P. Wiltz, 82, who passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Willie (Susan) Henry, Mrs. Mark (Louella) Alexander, rs. Carl (Carolyn) West and Mrs. Darrell (Crystal) Wiltz); son, Anthony Wiltz Sr.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sara Benoit and Elizabeth Perrodin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Althea Gerard Wiltz.
