Glenn Michael Poteet

Coquille, Ore. – On Saturday, June 20, 2020, Glenn Michael Poteet, loving father of four children, passed away at the age of 75.
Glenn was born in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on March 6, 1945, to John and Jeanette Poteet. He grew up with an interest in science, which led him to attend the University of Southwestern Louisiana, where he received a degree in microbiology.
He later went on to enjoy a successful career as an insurance adjuster and agent.

Margie F. Babin

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Margie F. Babin, 93, who passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Champagne and Rita B. Worsham; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.

Mary M. Dupree

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m., on Thursday, July 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mary Margaret “Dolly” Dupree, 91, who passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Interment will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.

David Singleton

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, July 14, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia for David Singleton, 70, who passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020.
Interment will followed at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia.
David is survived by his two brothers, Hubert Singleton and Carroll Singleton; sister, Mary Ann Singleton Roberts; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Thompson Sr.

Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 11, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Joseph A. Thompson Sr., 76, who passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020.
Interment followed at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Joseph Jr. and Scotty Thompson, Lamar and Joseph Burks, and Mrs. Vincent (Melissa) Jenkins; brother, Joseph J. Thompson; sisters, Mrs. John (Elvina) Dean, Ida Human and Mrs. Preston (Rose) Wiltz; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
