Harold ‘Tin’ Patin

Breaux Bridge – Harold “Tin” Patin, 93, passed away July 6, 2020, at his home in Breaux Bridge, surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held at a later date, as he has offered his body to research with LSU Medical Center.
A native of Breaux Bridge, La., he was born May 10, 1927, to the late Clerfe and Seleman (Breaux) Patin. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

Mark Wade Duhon

St. Martinville - A memorial service will be held at a later date Mark Wade Duhon, 51, who passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.
Mark was an avid sports fan who especially loved the L.S.U. Tigers. As a pastime, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and going fishing. Mark loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his father, Jerry W. Duhon; mother, Jean LeBlanc Duhon; son, Clint Duhon; daughter, Randi Duhon; and two siblings, David W. (Liz) Duhon and Julie Duhon (Joe Don) Guidry.

Glenn Michael Poteet

Coquille, Ore. – On Saturday, June 20, 2020, Glenn Michael Poteet, loving father of four children, passed away at the age of 75.
Glenn was born in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on March 6, 1945, to John and Jeanette Poteet. He grew up with an interest in science, which led him to attend the University of Southwestern Louisiana, where he received a degree in microbiology.
He later went on to enjoy a successful career as an insurance adjuster and agent.

Margie F. Babin

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Margie F. Babin, 93, who passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Champagne and Rita B. Worsham; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.

Mary M. Dupree

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m., on Thursday, July 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mary Margaret “Dolly” Dupree, 91, who passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Interment will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.
