St. Martinville – A private service will be held for the close family at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Harold Whitney Savoy, 88, who passed away on Monday, Aug. 17, 2020.
Interment will follow at House of Love Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, .at Breaux Bridge Pentecostal Church .for Rose Mary Brown Sylvester, 66, who passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020.
She is survived by her sons, Clifton Jr. and Tyrone Sylvester; daughters, Mary Sylvester and Mrs. James (Lou) Aguillard; sisters, Mrs. Ulysses (Edna) Charles, Mrs. Harold (Sue) Aubert and Mrs. Isaac (Mary)St. Julien; brother, Felton Brown Sr.; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton J. Sylvester Sr.
St. Martinville – A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church for Anna Lois Guillot Theriot, 78, who passed away on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020.
She is survived by her two sons, Anthony T. and Brady D. Theriot; two daughters, Kelly T. Castille and Dana L. Theriot; brother, John A. Guillot; sister, Mrs. Carl (Dian) Baker; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony P. Theriot Jr.

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church for Laura “Sue” Melancon Albert, 74, who passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 20 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Rev. Jessie Charpentier will officiate the Funeral Service.
Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted for St. Paul Bonin, 84, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Melancon officiating.
Interment followed at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes.
A gathering of family and friends took place at Evangeline Funeral Home of St. Martinville on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. The funeral home re-opened on Monday from 8 a.m. until the service time.
