St. Martinville – A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for John Sonnier Jr., 73, who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at his home.
Rev. Barry Crochet will be the Celebrant.
Entombment will be at a later date.
Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Georgie G. Rodriguez, 78, who passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Gregory Cormier officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia.
St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home for John Lee Dugas Sr., 68, who passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 7:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. A rosary was prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.
Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Breaux Bridge –A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, Oct. 16, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Nelson Paul Landry, 77, who passed away on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Corey (Patty) Bergeron and Tilly Landry; one grandchild; and two sisters, Geraldine Babineaux and Mrs. Patrick (Renella) Boyer.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Green Sr.; two sons, Earl Jr. and Brian K. Green; two daughters, Mrs. Dedrien (Rashada) Francois and Stella Green; brothers, Floyd and Paul Fontenette; sisters, Margaret Fontenette and Mrs. Michael (Prenella) Kately; and five grandchildren.
