Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Becky C. Cormier, 60, who passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Wilfred Cormier Jr.; daughter, Mrs. Chad (Kristie) Brasseaux; sons, Buddy and Danny Cormier; five grandchildren; brothers, David and Kim Castille; and sister, Mrs. Carl (Jenny) Cormier.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Norris Charles Sr.

Breaux Bridge – Funeral servics were held on Friday, Jan. 8, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Norris Charles Sr., 77, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
Survivors include his wife, Emma A. Charles; son, Norris Charles Jr.; four daughters, Mrs. Corey (Lorenza) Charles, Mrs. Bryson (Loretta) Rodriguez, Lorena Charles and Mrs. Philip (Veronica) Thibodeaux; and four grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Cecilia – A Funeral Service was held on Friday, Jan. 8, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Edna Brown Charles, 77, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
Survivors include her husband, Ulysses Charles Sr.; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Prenella) Frederick Sr., Mrs. James (Dianna) Boyd and Mrs. Clarence (Sarah) Lewis; three sons, Anthony Brown, and Russell Sr. and Uylsses Charles Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Sue) Aubert and Mrs. Isaac (Maryc) Julien; brother, Felton Brown Sr.; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

James ‘Chop’ Choplin

Henderson – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for James “Chop” Choplin, 69, who passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 3:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and continue on Friday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Rev. Garrett McIntrye will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
