Breaux Bridge – A service of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Carl Michel Simon. Deacon Ken Soignier of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia will officiate the ceremony.
Interment at St. Bernard Cemetery number 2 will follow at a later date.
St. Martinville – A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 7, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Stefan Mire, 32, who passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Candace R. Mire; two sons, Ayden M. and Jaxon J. Mire; mother, Darla L. Mire; sister, Heather Gonzales; maternal grandparents, John and Betty Landry; and paternal grandmother, Jacqueline R. Mire.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael A. Mire.

She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Earl (Barbara) Guidry and Mrs. D.D. (Helen) Dor; son, Ames Allemand; ten grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michel Allemand.

Father Travis Abadie will officiate the Mass. Inurnment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Cemetery.
Jim attended Cecilia High School, where he was also a member of the CHS band. He joined because of his love for music, which lasted throughout his adult years. He also had a great interest in fast cars and mechanics.
