Henderson – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 7, for Carol Jean LeBlanc, 66, who passed away on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at his residence. Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. He is survived by his partner, Wilson Suire of Lafayette; his mother, Lorraine LeBlanc; his brother, Gerald LeBlanc; and his sister, Mrs. Gillray (Sherry) Patin. He was preceded in death by his father, Jean H. LeBlanc.Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial wase held on Friday, Nov. 3, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Aglais Landry Cormier, 88, who passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Herman (Dolly) Bourgeois, Debbie C. Plouet, Lisa Cormier, Mrs. Tony (Leslie) Stutes and Mrs. Blane (Amanda) Fontenot; sons, Jeff and Gary L.
Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Raymond Poirier, 82, who passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday at 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7 .p.m on Tuesday. Fr. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Kyle Breaux and Kalli Angelle. Gift Bearers will be Connie Poirier and Russell J. Poirier.
Sulphur – Lillie Guidry Landry, 89, of Sulphur, Louisiana, passed away suddenly at her home on November 2, 2017, with her loving family by her side. Lillie was born to John and Esma Guidry on May 10, 1928, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She graduated from Breaux Bridge High School in 1946. In 1947 she married Patrick Landry of Breaux Bridge and in 1950 moved with her husband and two daughters to Honolulu, Hawaii with her husband’s job after his graduation from SLI, now UL in Lafayette.
