Ralph J. Calais

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Ralph J. Calais, 80, who passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 27, 2021.

Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and continued on Friday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. 

A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Rev. Gregory Cormier officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Madison Dupuis and Hudson Frederick. Gift bearers were his grandchildren.

Joseph Thibodeaux

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 1 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Joseph Thibodeaux, 90, who died on Sept. 26, 2021.

He is survived by his sons, Wilbert and Joseph Thibodeaux; daughters, Mrs. Iron (Linda) Gordon, Della Angelle and Mrs. John (Norma) Calais; 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Mae Celestine Thibodeaux.

Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Angelina A. Calais

Cecilia – Services are  pending for Angelina Calais, 85, who died on Sept. 23, 2021. 

She is survived by her daughters, Stella and Linda Calais; son, Leo P. Calais; sisters, Alberta Calais and Alzina Gordon; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo P. Calais Sr.

Bootsie Joseph Blanchard

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Bootsie Joseph Blanchard, 85, who passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in St. Martinville from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. 

A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Breaux Bridge –  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Fabian Landry LeBlanc, 88, who passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, at her residence.

Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 2:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.

A rosary was prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Monday by Deacon Nick Ware.
