St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be held on Dec. 9, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Melinda Frances Barras, 78, who died on Nov. 23, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Antoine “Tony” Barras; daughters, Julianne Barras and Anna-Lise Barras; sister, Mary “Stacey” Berberich.

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville for Ira Bourque, 87, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
Rev. Barry Crochet was the Celebrant. Rev. Buddy Breaux was Concelebrate.
Entombment followed at All Saints Cemetery in Loreauville.
Visitation was at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville on Friday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and resumed on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.
Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service was held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for John Keith Rodriguez, 62, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at Iberia Medical Center.
A visitation took place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
A rosary was recited at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday by Yvonne Dugas.
Deacon Perry Guidry officiated at the funeral service. The reader was Danielle Borel.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard #2 at a later date.
St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 18 at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Alfred “A.J.” Joseph Robertson, Sr., 80, who died on Nov. 10, 2023.
He is survived by his children, Rachel Moore and Alfred Joseph Robertson Jr.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Nov. 25 at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Verly Wiltz Courville, 90, who died Nov. 19, 2023.
Survivors include Delores and Ray Boudreaux, Janel and John Boudreaux, Jr., Peggy and Daniel Vice, Susan and Michael Broussard, and Terry and Vickie Courville; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, brother, Melvin Guidry, and foster sister, Verna Boyer.
