St. Martinville – A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday January 15, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Nedra Jolet Boggs, 69, who passed away on Monday January 10, 2022 in Lafayette.
Nedra Ann Jolet Boggs was born March 19, 1952, in Weeks Island, La. to Herman L. Jolet Jr. and Enola Daily Jolet.
Breaux Bridge – It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Joan Dupuis Molbert, on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 1 p.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana for Joan Dupuis Molbert.
Visiting hours were observed at Pellerin Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Monday by Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert.
Henderson – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Jan. 3, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Cecil Paul LeGrand, 73, who died on Dec. 30, 2021.
Cecil served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Belaire LeGrand; sons, Dwayne and Dwight LeGrand; daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Danielle) Montet; seven grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy and Charlie LeGrand; and sisters, Peggy Choplin and Mrs. Gary (Sally) Blanchard).
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Pamela Marie Demouchette, 60, who passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Monday.
Rev. Joseph Campion officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
St. Martinville – The family of Gladys Frances Judice Oubre sadly announces her passing on December 31, 2021. She was born on June 17, 1926, to Godfrey Judice and Laure Dugas.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. Reverend Bill Melancon celebrated the Christian Mass. Readers were Stephanie Latiolais and Gracie Latiolais. Gift Bearers were Alexia Oubre, Jordi Resweber and Gabrielle Rabeaux.
