Sulphur – Lillie Guidry Landry, 89, of Sulphur, Louisiana, passed away suddenly at her home on November 2, 2017, with her loving family by her side. Lillie was born to John and Esma Guidry on May 10, 1928, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She graduated from Breaux Bridge High School in 1946. In 1947 she married Patrick Landry of Breaux Bridge and in 1950 moved with her husband and two daughters to Honolulu, Hawaii with her husband’s job after his graduation from SLI, now UL in Lafayette.
Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Elaine Lasseigne, 63, who passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Carpenter House. Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday; 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday; and continued at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Roxane Borel Guidry, 54, who passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday at 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Monday. Deacon Butch Hebert officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Coteau Holmes – A gravesite ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at St. Elizabeth cemetery in Coteau Holmes for Nathan Joseph Carline, 72, who passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017. He is survived his wife of 52 years Diana Carline; sons, Richard Carline and Scott Burke; daughters, Rachel Patin, Roxanna Blanchard and Rayette Carline; brothers, Calvin Carline, Jimmy Carline and Eve art Carline; sisters, Jane Boutte, Judy Anderson, Goldie Case and Barbara Carline; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Dolores Daigle, 69, who passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. on Friday and continued until 10 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday. Rev. Keenan Brown officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles. Dolores enjoyed sewing, doing arts and crafts, going shopping, and cooking.
