Mickey G. Champagne

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Mickey G. Champagne, 60, who passed away at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

Visitation took place at the funeral home on Monday, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and continued on Tuesday, from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m..

A rosary was recited at 6 p.m. on Monday by Deacon Ken Soignier. 

Celebrant was Rev. Garrett McIntyre and Concelebrants were Rev. Paul Broussard and Rev. Cyprian Eze for the Funeral Mass.

Jon Breaux

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Jon Breaux, 35, who passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022.

The family requested visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

A rosary was recited at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening by Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert.

Retired SSG Johnathan Nathaniel Orphé

Killeen, Texas – Funeral services for Retired SSG Johnathan Nathaniel Orphe’, 43 of Killeen, TX were held Monday, July 11, 2022, 3:00 p.m. at Chisolm’s Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Interment will full military honors was held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. Viewing was held two hours prior to the service (1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) at the funeral home. Mr. Orphe’ passed away June 25, 2022, in Killeen, TX. 

Larry A. Poche

Larry Allan Poche, 74, died on July 9, 2022.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Mrs. Tony (Terri) Fontenot; daughters, Mrs. Mark (Teddi) Willis and Mrs. Robert (Tonni) Maw; six grandchildren; brothers, Floyd and Sidney Poche; and sisters, Virdy and Alene Poche and Martha Phares.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Luanna Leger Poche.

Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Janet Ebow

Parks – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on July 16, 2022, at St. Louis Chapel for Janet Ebow, 77.

She is survived by a daughter, Lynette Ebow; brothers, Lester and Melton James; sisters, Stella Conner, Carline Mitchell and Terrie Francis; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
