Anastasia Etienne Marshall, of St. Peters, Mo., passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the age of 73. She was the second child of Johnny Etienne Sr. and Hazel Dugas Etienne of St. Martinville, La.
Anastasia obtained her early education in St. Martinville at Notre Dame Elementary and Adam Carlson High School before enrolling in Southern University, from which she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in 1970.

St. Martinville – A home-going celebration of life for Ms. Darlene Drake, 57, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Union Baptist Church (902 St. Martin Street) with Rev. Darren A. Benoit officiating.
Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sept. 29, 2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Rita Faye Comeaux Sonnier, 60.
She is survived by husband, Richard Sonnier; sons Denny and Benny Comeaux; brothers, Charles and Richard Comeaux; sisters, Mrs. Daniel (Tammy) Green and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Lagneaux; and six grandchildren.

Henderson – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Sept. 27 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Francis Dupuis, 91, who died on Sept. 24, 2022.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Rena Wyatt Dupuis; son, Barney Dupuis; daughters, Mrs. Larry (Ginger) Babineaux, Mrs. Percy (Lisa) Patin and Mrs. Stacy (Dawn) Benoit; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Dupuis Huval.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Juanita Ann Blanchard, 78, who passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
A visitation was held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
A rosary was prayed at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Deacon Butch Hebert officiated at the funeral service.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No 1.
