Milfin Simiena Perrodin

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Milfin Simiena Perrodin, 54, who passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021, at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Visiting hours were observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021.
A rosary was prayed at 8:30 a.m. Rev. Abelardo Gabriel, SVD, officiated at the funeral service.
Interment followed at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville.

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Ronald James Theriot, 68, who died on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
He is survived by his sons, Myles and Christopher Theriot; two grandchildren; sister, Janet Dickerson; brothers, Van and Johnny Theriot and Mark Stevens.

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, June 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Willa Mae “Toot” Knott, 77, who died on Monday, June 7, 2021.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard Knott; son, Kenneth Knott; daughters, Mrs. Mark (Kathy) Guidry, Mrs. Chris (Karen) Brown and Katina Knott; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rose Green and Jane LeBlanc.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.

Delven J. Bourque III

Broussard – A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 17 at Our Savior’s Church for Delven John Bourque III, 23, who passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
He is survived by his daughter, Rosalie René Bourque; parents, Tabitha and Delven J. Bourque Jr.; sisters, Jasmine Bourque and Mrs. Tevit (Bethany) Douglas; and maternal grandfather, Oreste Toucheck Jr.

Joseph ‘Josh’ Lasserre

Joseph (Josh) Hungerford Lasserre left this world richer than he found it on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at age 52.
He was born May 18, 1969, in New Iberia. Growing up, he developed a talent he would cultivate for the rest of his life; Josh made friends easily. His stylish aesthetic was formed early by out-of-town museum trips, mail-order Porsche catalogs, and late-night episodes of Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous. Josh had an appreciation of the finer things in life.
