Parks – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Aug. 31, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Raymond R. Doré, 70, who died on Aug. 24, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Cameron Doré; son, Brian Doré; daughters, Mrs. Brody (Lacey) Melancon, Mrs. Kyle (Cristy) Dauphinet and Camey Doré; sister, Mrs. Robert (Renella) Bonin; and four grandchildren.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Markus James Robertson Sr. 51, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Rev. Abelardo Gabriel, Celebrant, officiating. 

He will await the resurrection in House of Love Cemetery in St. Martinville. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 7 a.m. until the time of the service with a rosary to be recited at 9 a.m.

Arnaudville – Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Westford Joseph “JJ” Angelle Jr., 67, who passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at his residence in Arnaudville.

Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. 

Musical selections will be provided by Laura Huval and Charie Johnson.
