The Breaux Bridge Tigers edged a strong Franklin team to take first place team honors at the Cajun Chef Relays held here last Friday. The Bridge amassed 112½ points, just ahead of Franklin which collected 111.

Breaux Bridge planning $2.2 million project to improve distribution of water

The 300,000-gallon tower in Commercial Park East south of Interstate 10, where one of the new lines serving the North Bridge area will be connected to the existing system .

The city fathers here have embarked upon an ambitious plan to improve and increase the delivery of municipal water plus other infrastructure improvements using funds from the city’s special taxing
