READY TO ROLL – Trucks belonging to the sugarcane hauling fleet operated by the LaSuCa sugar mill at St. John are lined up and ready to begin the 2018 harvest, expected to start on either Friday or Saturday. The mill operates nearly 100 of the 18-wheelers and expects to process 1,360,000 tons of cane collected from growers in St. Martin and eight surrounding parishes.
