Yula Mae Landry Theriot

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Yula Mae Landry Theriot, 92, who passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and continued on Friday at 70 .a.m until 9:30 a.m.
  A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Fr. Travis Abadie officiated at the funeral service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Readers were Trudy Guidry and Mary Richardson. Gift bearers were Logan Hebert, Jasmine Champagne, Jana Boudreaux and Lane LeGrand.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Yula was a humble woman and a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister and friend. She was the best mother to her children and loved tending to their needs. A devout Catholic and a faith-filled woman, Yula prayed the rosary daily offering prayers of special intentions for those in need.  
Yula enjoyed cooking and baking, she especially loved teaching her grandchildren how to cook and bake, in hopes they would enjoy it as much as she did. She was known to be quite comical and loved joking around with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Dianne LeGrand and husband Russell, and Barbara Theriot; brother, Earl Landry; sister, Doris Theriot; grandchildren, Craig Champagne and spouse Jacquelyn, Michele Champagne Hebert, Jolene Boudreaux and spouse Robert, and Corey Theriot; and great- grandchildren, Logan Hebert, Jasmine Champagne, Jana Boudreaux, Jonathan Boudreaux, Lane LeGrand and Kamryn Granier.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Euclide Joseph Theriot; son, Kurt Theriot; grandsons, Jonas and Joey LeGrand; parents, Pierre and Lillian Calais Landry; sister, Marjorie Theriot; and brother, Michael Landry.
Pallbearers were Craig Champagne, Corey Theriot, Jonathan Boudreaux, Randy Theriot, John Guidry and Robert Boudreaux.
Honorary pallbearers were Michele Champagne Hebert, Jolene Boudreaux, Logan Hebert, Jasmine Champagne, Jana Boudreaux, Lane LeGrand, Kamryn Granier, Roy Albert, Nolan Champagne and Russell LeGrand.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dayna Theriot for the love, care and support given to Yula in her time of need.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
