Tyler James Johnson

Breaux Bridge – A Celebration of Life was held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Tyler James Johnson, 27, who was taken from this world too soon on Sunday, June 2, 2019.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m until time of funeral service.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiated at the Funeral Service. Readers were Kaitlyn Guidry and Kasha Bodin.
Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Tyler was born in Lafayette, La. and a resident of Breaux Bridge. He was full of life and loved with all of his heart. Tyler was a hardworking, selfless man who was always there to help in your time of need. He was a great storyteller, fun, comical, loving, and never met a stranger. Tyler was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and kayaking. He was also very artistic and loved to paint.
Tyler was taken from this world much too soon and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving mother, Lisa Brasseaux and husband Kip; father, Jordan Johnson and wife Christina; grandfather, Louis Ray Sr. and companion Debbie Laonde; sisters, Kristy Johnson and fiancé Elizabeth Ducharme, Danielle Johnson and Kayla Brasseaux; brothers, Christopher Brasseaux, Tyler Brasseaux and Brandon Johnson; uncles, Louis Ray Jr., Kirk Guidry and Darren Champagne; aunts, Amanda Guidry and Christine Ray; godmother, Laura Champagne; godfather, Johnny Johnson; and his cousins, Kasha Bodin, Jerek Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Scotty Broussard, Cody Broussard, Lacey Ray, Laney Guidry, Kaitlyn Guidry, Cohen Broussard and Jordan Brasseaux.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elaine Hayes Ray; grandmother, Mary Johnson; grandfather, Webster Johnson; and cousin, Misty Broussard.
Pallbearers were Brandon Johnson, Louis Ray Jr., Kirk Guidry, Jerek Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Scotty Broussard and Cody Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers were Troy Broussard and Patrick “Junior” Guidry.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
