Thomas Anthony Patin Sr.

St. Martinville – A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Thomas Anthony Patin Sr., 84, who passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019, at Maison de Lafayette.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday.
A rosary will be prayed at 12 p.m. on Thursday.
Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the Memorial Service.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army who honorably served his country during the Korean War. He worked with Southern Pacific Railroad for 27 years and this is where he met some of his dearest and closest friends who became like family to him.
As a pastime, Thomas enjoyed fishing, RVing, entertaining his friends while camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jessie L. Patin; daughters, Mitzi Broussard and husband Stephen of Youngsville, and Patrice Fraser and husband Devin of Canton, Ga.; sons, Todd Patin of Beaumont, Texas, and Thomas A. Patin Jr. and wife Jennifer of Flaggstaff, Ariz.; brother, Irvin Patin and wife Marie of St. Martinville; sister, Ruby P. Robin of Henderson; grandchildren, Meagan B. Kozma, Alysa B. LeBlanc, Calvin Smith, Katy Patin, Kohlton Patin, Ethan Fraser and Jacob Fraser; and his great-grandchild, Asher Kozma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jamine and Jeanette Keith Patin; brothers, Ernest Patin and Jim Patin; and his sister, Gladys Brasseaux.
