Therese ‘Shirley’ Clark

Catahoula – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Dion Hall for Therese “Shirley” Clark, 81, who passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home.
Visiting hours were observed from 80 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Dion Hall in Catahoula.
A rosary was prayed at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. Richard Fabre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures were read by Betty Lou Judice and Becky Hebert. Gift Bearers werbe her daughter and grandson.
Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula.
She was previously employed with Bell South, J.B. Talley, and Walmart. As a pastime, she enjoyed playing Bingo and card games, and doing crossword puzzles. Shirley will be remembered for that beautiful smile and her kindness towards everyone that was a part of her life. She loved her family unconditionally and her grandson was the joy in her life that made it complete.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Brenda Clark Touchet and husband Brian of St. Martinville; her grandson, Adam Ross Touchet of Lafayette; brothers, J.C. Landry and wife Betty of Catahoula and Ray Landry and wife Rosemary of Lafayette; and her sisters, Betty Lou Judice of Loreauville and Merlene Darbonne and husband Don of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Benjamin and Sadia Boudreaux Landry; her husband, Roland Clark; and her brother, Tommy Landry.
Pallbearers were Adam Touchet, Dustin Savoie, Derek Savoie, Corey Landry, Evan Hebert and Ryan Landry.
