Shirlene M. Davis

Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Shirlene M. Davis, 57, who died July 18, 2018, at her residence.
Services were conducted by Rev. Father Jerome Cletus.
Interment was in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, Nesley Davis and Genevieve Sam Davis; two sisters, Ella Davis of Breaux Bridge and Irma (Ernest) Pierre of Houston, Texas; her brother, Edmond Davis of New Orleans; nephews, Spencer Henry of Carencro, Aaron Pierre of Baton Rouge, and Brent Davis of LaPlace; one niece, Sherzelle Davis of LaPlace; five great nephews; four great nieces; three godchildren, and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edmond and Lydia Sam; and her paternal grandparents, Amilcar and Amelia Davis; one godchild; three nieces and her godparents.
Syrie Funeral Home of Lafayette was in charge of arrangements.
