Paul ‘Bobby’ Hebert

Breaux Bridge – A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Paul “Bobby” Hebert, 83, who passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, May 5th, 2023.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. by Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert.

Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert will officiate the funeral service.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard #1.

Paul “Bobby” Hebert was born on November 12th, 1939, in Breaux Bridge. Bobby was a true patriot who served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. 

Following his military service, he returned home and lived out the rest of his life in Breaux Bridge. Bobby enjoyed the simpler things in life such as working in his yard, riding his tractor, and lovingly caring for his cats.  He will be dearly missed by family, friends, loved ones, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his brother, Harold Guidry and his wife Emily; best friend, Paula Stelly; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Hebert and Sephalide Guidry Hebert.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center, Ochsner St. Martin Hospital and Heart of Hospice for giving Bobby exceptional care.
