Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Patricia Broussard Schoenfelder, 56, who passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020, in Lafayette.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and continue on Thursday at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Yvonne Cormier and Alicia Broussard. Gift Bearers will be Jennifer Theriot and Erica Begnaud.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery #2 in Breaux Bridge.
Pat was a member of a quilting club for many years. She worked at Hebert’s Superette in Breaux Bridge for 20 plus years as office manager and as a secretary at Downsville Community Charter School in Downsville, La. Pat enjoyed quilting, sewing baby blankets for the family, taking pictures of nature and people, and going to the beach for some relaxation. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
he is survived by her loving spouse, Lance Schoenfelder of Breaux Bridge; son, Dax Schoenfelder of Breaux Bridge; daughter, Baylie Landry and husband Mark of Lafayette; brother, Jacob Broussard of Breaux Bridge; and sister, Jennifer Theriot and husband Davis of Parks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy Anthony and Shirley Ann Broussard; brother, Murphy Broussard Jr.; and sister, Rebecca Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Davis Theriot, Lenneth Trosclair, Todd Begnaud, Todd Dias, Elliot Trosclair and Keenan Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Broussard and Phillip Cormier.
