Norton Patin

Cecilia – A Funeral Service was held at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Norton Patin, 74, who passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m.
Pastor Sherman Soileau officiated at the Funeral Service. Music by Laura Huval and Megan Rankin.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Norton was born in Cecilia to the late Clesmay and Beatrice Martin Patin. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Norton was the owner/operator of Basin Crawfish Processors/Crawfish Distributors for 30 years before retiring.
He enjoyed drinking his coffee every morning with his friends. Norton also enjoyed being outside and working in his yard. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Norton will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 53 years, Eugenie “Genie” Berard Patin; loving son, Scottie Patin; grandchildren, Lacy Patin and Alexis Magee and spouse Adam; great-grandchildren, Piper and Brently Magee; and sisters, Nancy Angelle and husband Walter, and Joslyn Thibodeaux and husband Cecil.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clesmay Patin; mother, Beatrice Martin Patin; and brother-in-law, Al Berard.
Pallbearers were Rex Berard, Bronson Clements, Wilven Hayes, Jeremy Hayes, Adam Magee and Ronald Goulas.
Honorary pallbearers were Jim Berard and Brently Magee.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
