Norris Charles Huval

Breaux Bridge – A memorial service was held at Liberty Baptist Church, 3501 N. University, Lafayette, LA 70507, at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019, for Norris Charles Huval, 62, who passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at his home.
Visiting hours were observed at the church from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Pastor Jeffery Sistrunk officiated at the funeral service. A gathering of family and friends was held immediately following the memorial service.
Norris was born in Lafayette, La. to the late Nathan and Anna Mae Webb Huval. He was the owner/operator of NHS Electric and a former member of Lake Berard Hunting Club. Norris was a “Jack-of-all-trades” who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with medical and funeral expenses.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 17 years, Melinda “Mindy” Chassion Huval; daughter, Charly Hawk and husband Timothy; step-daughters, Joycelyn Matthews, Gracie Graffia and Crystal Morvant; step-son, Ryan Angelle; sisters, Charlotte Blanchard and husband Carroll, and Madeline Harshberger and husband Greg; grandchildren, Kenneth and Cooper Hawk and Matthew and Randy Angelle; nephews, Kenneth “PJ” Pope Jr., and Matthew and Samuel Harshberger; his nieces, Danielle Pope and Elizabeth Harshberger; and a great nephew, Maeson Carter Pope.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nathan Huval; mother, Anna Mae Webb Huval; and his grandson, Jasper Hawk.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
