Myrtle Dwyer Angelle

Breaux Bridge – As per her wishes, a Graveside Service was held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge for Myrtle Dwyer Angelle, 93, who passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated at the Graveside Service.  

Myrtle was a devout Catholic and life-long parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge. She was a dedicated homemaker, as well as, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who always put her family first. Myrtle will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Pedro Angelle Sr.; son, Butch Angelle (Yvonne); daughter, Kathleen Angelle McLeod (Bruce); grandchildren, Kathryn “Kate” Thibodeaux (Tahanie), Christian “CC” Bienvenu (Jeff), Jack Angelle (Tasha), Brooke Domingue (Jason) and Kalli Latiolais (Zach); and her great-grandchildren, Christiaan and Adriana Thibodeaux, Austin, Landon and Greyson Bienvenu, Ana and Asa Angelle, Cole, Allie and Cade Domingue and Brinley Latiolais.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam “Jack” Dwyer and Leoda Champagne Dwyer; and her brothers, Joseph Dwyer, Bob William Dwyer and Ward James Dwyer.

Pallbearers were Austin Bienvenu, Landon Bienvenu, Jack Angelle, Cole Domingue, Asa Angelle and Zach Latiolais.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Compassus Hospice and all family and friends who showed support, care, and compassion.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
