Millie B. Huval

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Millie B. Huval, 90, who passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. Stephen Pellessier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Trisha Huval Abel and Nicholas LeBlanc. Gift Bearers will be her great-grandchildren.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mrs. Huval was a devout Catholic who faithfully attended 4 o’clock Mass every Saturday at St. Bernard Church. She was a member of the Cruisin’ Cajuns RV Club, Pioneers of America and the St. Martin Parish Council on Aging. Millie was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time outdoors taking care of her plants and crocheting prayer blankets for St. Bernard Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon H. LeBlanc and husband Rodney of Breaux Bridge; sons, Brian Huval and wife Jackie, and Michael Huval and wife Tiffany, all of Breaux Bridge; grandchildren, Nicholas LeBlanc and spouse Anne, Trisha Huval Abel and spouse Ashton, Christopher Huval and spouse Katey, and Bo Credeur and spouse Shelby, all of Breaux Bridge; and her great-grandchildren, Emma Grace LeBlanc, Sage Hebert and Elise Marie LeBlanc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Joseph Huval; granddaughter, Heather LeBlanc; parents, Valex and Marie Broussard Begnaud; brothers, Howard Begnaud, Andrew Begnaud, Chester Begnaud, James Begnaud and Clarence Begnaud; and her sisters, Margaret Blanchard, Dorothy Hahn and Verna Guidry.
Pallbearers will be Bo Credeur, Christopher Huval, Ashton Abel, Nicholas LeBlanc, Charlie Begnaud and Joey Begnaud.
