Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Mason J. LaGrange, 71, who passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at his residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday.
A rosary was prayed at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiated at the Funeral Service.
Interment was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Mason honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. As a pastime, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and hot rods.
He is survived by his daughter, Misty Laviolette and husband Clint of Breaux Bridge; his grandchildren, Ethan and Ambry Laviolette, and Maci LaGrange; and his sister, Dolores Doré and husband Danny Dale of St. Martinville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Neita Alleman; son, Monny LaGrange; and his parents, Leon and Hazel Hebert LaGrange.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
