Marian G. Comeaux

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Marian G. Comeaux, 71, who passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at her residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and continued on Friday at 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday by Deacon Perry Guidry.
Rev. Nicholas DuPré officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Marian was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks and a member of the Catholic Daughters for many years. Marian loved playing Pokeno, shopping, doing puzzles and diamond art. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Marian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle (Kyle) Cormier and Kyrsten Comeaux; sons, Troy Comeaux and Richard “Ricky” Comeaux Jr.; brothers, Perry (Edolia) Guidry and Jeffrey (Charlene) Guidry; sisters, Kathy Louviere, Donna Lacombe, Sharron (Kirk) Dwyer and Angie (Deno) Boudreaux; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Comeaux Sr.; and her parents, Aline Theriot Guidry and Herband Guidry.
Pallbearers were Troy Comeaux, Richard “Ricky” Comeaux Jr., Kyle Cormier, Keegan Cormier, Jeff Guidry and Devin Prejean.
Honorary pallbearer was Deno Boudreaux.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
