Lena ‘Tookie’ Marie Inzerella

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Lena “Tookie” Marie Inzerella, 70, who passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary led by Debbie Guidry Hebert was prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Austin Leger officiated at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Tookie was born and raised in St. Martinville. She was a realtor for 40 years and also had a hair salon. She enjoyed traveling, art, and antiques. Tookie was a part of many organizations and boards in the real estate industry.
A devout Catholic, she held to her faith which was very important in her life. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her sister, Angela Inzerella and husband Alan LaBorde of Baton Rouge; nieces and nephews, Kim Inzerella Pierce and husband George of Covington, Sammy Inzerella, and Lisa Inzerella all of St. Martinville; great-nieces and nephews, Brittany Trosclair, Elise Trosclair, Josh Trosclair, Anthony Inzerella, Brittany Everette, Amelia Pierce and Madeline Pierce; and her sister-in-law, Carolyn Inzerella.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mary Capritto Inzerella; and brother, Sammy Inzerella.
Pallbearers were Sammy Inzerella, Anthony Inzerella, George Pierce, Alan LaBorde and Patrick Menard.
Honorary pallbearers were her nieces, great-nieces and great-nephew.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
