Lee Allen Breaux

Breaux Bridge – Lee Allen Breaux, 74, passed away January 15, 2021, at his home in Breaux Bridge.
He was known to many as “T-Bro.” He spent many years in the oilfield and then 11 years with the City of Lafayette.
He had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to play boureé with his classmates and travel to the casino with his neighbors.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sophie Devillier Breaux of Cecilia; two daughters, Sharma Breaux and Jada Hickey and husband Kirk; one son, Byron Breaux and wife Wendi; nine grandchildren, Justin, Kristin and Alaina Zeringue, Layni, Kayleigh and Drew Menard, Brennen and Aralynn Breaux and Ella Hickey; and one sister, Flora Marks.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Lawrence Breaux and Gladys Caillier Breaux.
To honor his wishes his body was donated to science at LSU. We will have a private interment at St. Bernard cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bradley Chastant (“his podnah”), Dr. Allan and Dr. Sacorra. We would also like to thank his nurses at Lafayette General who went above and beyond for our family.
