St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Frederick Joseph Savoy Sr., 67, who passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019.
Visiting hours will be observed at the church from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday.
He is survived by his former wife, Mildred Savoy; daughter, Constance Savoy; sons, Frederick Jr., Michael and Sylvester Savoy; brothers, Jasper, Whitney, Willie, Charles George and Wilson Savoy Sr.; sisters, Mary George, Mrs. Leroy (Zelma) Banks, Mrs. Alvin (Monitta) Jones and Mary Savoy; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Christopher, Charlie Sr. and Samuel Savoy.
