Francis ‘Frank’ Xavier Latiolais

St. Martinville – Private Graveside services will be conducted for Francis “Frank” Xavier Latiolais, 71, at St. Michael’s Cemetery in St. Martinville. Fr. Bill Melancon of St. Rita’s Catholic Church will conduct the services.
A native of Catahoula Cove and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Latiolais passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was employed in the oilfield industry for 50+ years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and camping with his wife. He was affectionately known as “Pop” by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed their visits.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Sheryl Judice Latiolais; one daughter, Nikki Latiolais Dugas and husband Kim; three sons, Bryan Latiolais and wife Roberta “Teetsie” Theriot Latiolais, Dana Latiolais and wife Stephanie Resweber Latiolais, and Kent Latiolais and companion Kisha Kana, all of St. Martinville; three sisters, Gayle L. Boudreaux and husband Ray of St. Martinville, Louise L. Knight and husband Warren of Chandler, Okla., and Josie L. Dugas and husband Ricky of Catahoula; one brother, Donald Latiolais and wife Nancy of Breaux Bridge; one brother-in-law, Mark Judice and fiancé Michelle Camacho; nine grandchildren, Dru Dugas and wife Karley, Ty Dugas, Alec Latiolais, Layne Latiolais, Jayce Latiolais, Brooke Dugas, Gracie Latiolais, Kenzie Dugas and Thomas Latiolais, and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Richard and Easton Dugas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Murphy and Lena Laperouse Latiolais; maternal grandparents, Alexson and Ella Laperouse; paternal grandparents, Gabriel and Josephine Latiolais; and Allen and Ann Gardemal Judice, his in-laws; and sister-in-law, Lynne Viator Judice
