Born December 21, 1933, Ethel was a lifelong resident of Parks, Louisiana, where she devoted her life to her family. Her husband was her best friend and greatest love. They always had a kind word for one another, were devoted to each other, and in their golden years enjoyed reminiscing about the many memorable trips and occasions they experienced together.
Nothing made them happier than being together.
Ethel was a quiet and unassuming sweet, gentle woman. She gave of herself unselfishly without any expectation of anything in return. She was a loving caregiver to her parents, her children, her grandchildren, and her husband. She took great joy in the accomplishments of her grandchildren and was delighted to be blessed with a great-granddaughter who always brought a smile to her lips.
Ethel participated in the Parks St. Joseph Catholic Church Ladies Auxiliary, Altar Society, and Perpetual Adoration. She also belonged to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Homebound Eucharistic Ministry.
