Elizebelle L. Menard

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Elizebelle Landry Menard, 88, who passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at her residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday.
Micah and Tasha Guidry officiated at the Funeral Service. Vocalist was Jaycee Champagne.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Elizebelle was retired from Martin Mills, where she worked for 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, going shopping, vacationing in Branson, Mo., and cooking for her family. Her family meant everything to her, and she dearly loved taking care of them.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Shara Guidry and husband Perry, Linda Bailey Dupuis and husband Jimmy, and Sheila Collette and husband Bryan, all of Breaux Bridge; grandchildren, Byron Guidry, Micah Guidry and spouse Tasha, Kayla Patel and spouse Nilay, Kristen Moody and spouse John, Brody Melancon, Brady Melancon and companion Abby, Joshua Collette and spouse Deandra, Cassie Semmes and spouse Ryan, and Caleb Collette; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Curtis Landry and wife Rousella; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Landry of Port Neches, Texas, Ruby Menard of Breaux Bridge, and Elsie Menard Dugas of Breaux Bridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Joseph Menard Jr.; parents, Dewey and Sidonie Hulin Landry; brothers, Lloyd Landry and Rodney Landry; sisters, Mazel Locke and Anabelle Campbell; a great-grandchild, Gabriel David Moody; and son-in law, William Craig Bailey.
Pallbearers were Byron Guidry, Nilay Patel, Joshua and Caleb Collette, and Brady and Brody Melancon.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Cadance of Acadiana, The Golden Rule Care Provider, St. Joseph Hospice, PACE program for the elderly and to these caregivers: Ebony Morel, Susan Blanchard, Anna Serrette, Ms. Marion, and Trisha Gravouilla for their compassion and love given during her time of illness.
