Dorothy L. ‘Dot’ Guidry

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Dorothy L. “Dot” Guidry, 80, who passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Calcutta House.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. 

A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m.

Father Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

Dot enjoyed painting portraits, weeding her flower bed, and visiting with her family and friends. She retired from Sears after 15 years of service, then she went on to work part-time for the Council on Aging.  

She is survived by her three sons, Duaine Guidry, Greg Guidry (Bridgette), and Chris Guidry (Rhonda Falcon); sister, Faye L. DeMoor (David); two grandchildren, Lauren Autin (Trey) and Dylan  Guidry; and one great grandchild, Theodore Autin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Pearl Dupuis Latiolais; and her brother, Eddie Latiolais. 

Pallbearers will be Greg Guidry, Duaine Guidry, Chris Guidry, Tyler Landry, Dylan Guidry and Trey Autin.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
